Spend the afternoon making your own sterling silver necklace! 

We will be learning how to cut and shape silver, add textures and stamped shapes and adding a chain and clasp. You'll walk away wearing a beautiful, bespoke necklace.

This would be a great class if you are nervous about using a jewellers torch as we can still create a beautiful pendant without one. It's also great practise for sawing! The class lasts for 3 hours and is perfect for a beginner, no experience is neccessary. I'll be on hand to guide you through the process with lots of demos and plenty of time to ask questions.

I will have some templates and shapes printed out to help you come up with a design. The silver allowance for this class is 2.5cm x 2.5cm so if you want to bring a design along, do keep that in mind. The classes are small groups with all tools and materials provided, you just need to turn up ready to make!

There is also a bangle class running before this if you want to make a day of it, I take an hours lunch break and you are more than welcome to pop in to Pocklington or bring a packed lunch with you. You can book both together using the Bangle and Pendant ticket option on either course page.
