Your 6 Week Jewellery Journey

Week 1 – Simple Stacking Ring

For our first session, we'll have a run through of some of the tools and techniques we'll be using over the 6 weeks. Then we'll work on a delicate silver ring, which you can leave plain or add some texture. Go home leaving with your new creation, ready to show off!

Week 2 – Textured Wide Band Ring

In week 2, we'll exploring hammer textures and stamping to create a wide silver ring band. We'll practise some of the skills learnt in week 1 and add in some finishing techniques.

Week 3 – Copper Pendant or Keyring

For week 3, we'll be practicing our sawing skills by creating a decorative copper pendant or keyring. You can add in some of the texturing skills from previous weeks to really personalise the piece. If you would like to do this piece in silver, this is possible for an extra charge.

Week 4 – Silver Earrings

Week 4 will see us back in silver, building on those saw piercing skills. We'll work on creating a matching pair of silver earrings using forming, soldering and finishing techniques.

Week 5 – Finishing Touches

In week 5, we'll cover how to polish and finish your work, bringing together the skills learned throughout the course. We'll play with tools to add different finishes like a high shine, matt finish or even a black, oxidised look (this looks great with texture!)

Week 6 – Completing Your Projects

In our final week, we'll make sure each project is beautifully finished so you can proudly show them off and say "I made this!"

  • Working with findings
