About the event

We will be spending the morning making a set of sterling silver rings.

You will learn how to find your ring size, how to measure and cut the silver, how to solder, shape and polish your ring. We will experiment with hammers and stamps to create textures and patterns and make your rings unique to you.

You will come away with a set of beautiful rings!

The class lasts for 3 hours and is perfect for a beginner, no experience is necessary. I'll be on hand to guide you through the process with lots of demos and plenty of time to ask questions. The classes are small groups with all tools and materials provided, you just need to turn up ready to make! Materials are included with enough silver to create 3 rings. If you wish to make more, you can buy additional silver at a cost of £10 per ring.

Want to know more about the class and see examples of previous students work? Check out this blog post:

There is also a bangle making class running after this if you want to make a day of it, I take an hours lunch break and you are more than welcome to pop in to Pocklington or bring a packed lunch with you. You can find out more about the class below and you can book both together using the Rings and Bangle ticket option on either course page.
