Create a stunning pair of domed silver earrings that are versatile, stylish, and a joy to wear. In this class, you’ll learn how to work with silver sheet metal to form beautiful 3D shapes. You’ll explore techniques like doming, filing, and finishing to achieve a professional look. These earrings are classic yet personalized, and you’ll feel accomplished wearing something entirely made by you!
Perfect for: Beginners and those who want to master working with silver sheet metal. If you’re new to jewellery-making, this class is a great starting point for learning how to create polished, professional pieces.
For those who love the beauty of gemstones, this class will let you design and create a beaded gemstone pendant that’s both colourful and unique. You’ll work with a variety of gemstones, carefully selecting and arranging them to create a pendant that reflects your personal style. This workshop will cover basic beading techniques, from creating your own pins t creating a secure closure. We'll add them to a simple silver circle or oval.
Perfect for: Beginners and gemstone enthusiasts. If you’ve always wanted to work with gemstones or are looking to add a vibrant piece to your jewellery collection, this class is for you. It’s also a wonderful option for returning students who want to expand their skills.
Nothing says timeless beauty like a handcrafted silver flower pendant. In this workshop, you’ll learn techniques for shaping, texturing, and assembling a charming flower pendant. By the end of the session, you’ll walk away with a beautiful floral design that’s both delicate and eye-catching.
Perfect for: Flower lovers and anyone eager to try their hand at a new project. This class offers a great next step for those who have done one of my pendant or earring workshops and want to practise their sawing techniques. There'll be a range of flower designs of varying intricacy!
In this intermediate level class, you’ll create an elegant tube-set pendant featuring a beautiful gemstone centre piece. Setting a stone in a tube is a rewarding process that requires a bit more precision, making it perfect for those looking to challenge themselves. You’ll learn the basics of stone setting, and you’ll leave with a pendant that really sparkles.
Perfect for: This would be great for previous attendees or those with a bit of jewellery making experience. If you’re a past student who wants to learn how to add gems to their work, this class will help you grow your skills and create something truly special. We will take it slow though so beginners more than welcome!
Not actually a piece of jewellery but little sculptures. If you love texture, detail, and playing with shapes, this workshop is for you! Here, you’ll learn how to shape and form delicate copper flowers and solder them to a stem. The techniques covered could be easily adapted for jewellery making.
Perfect for: Those who love crafting with copper and want to experiment with unique, nature-inspired shapes. It’s ideal for students looking to try a fresh technique and add some copper creations to their collection.
